Sibyl’s Scriptorium Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy tells you what kinds of information we collect from web site visitors who register for a contest or other service operated by Sibyl’s Scriptorium, including the Æther Illustration, DragonComet Short Story, and Odyssey Poetry contests and any future services, and what we will and will not do with that information.
If you register for a contest or other service, only Sibyl’s Scriptorium staff and those who assist us in putting on the actual services will see any of your information. If you are a parent of a child 13 or under who has registered for a service, you can request us to cancel the registration and delete the child’s information by emailing us at info@sibscript.org.
Sibyl’s Scriptorium has visitors and contestants under the age of 13, and therefore comes under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), a US federal law that requires us to provide certain specific information in this Privacy Policy. However, the provisions of this Privacy Policy apply to all of our users regardless of age, location or citizenship.

Sibyl’s Scriptorium does not share information with anyone not a member of the contest organizing committees, the directors and officers of Sibyl’s Scriptorium Inc., and contest judges, except when required to by proper legal process (for example, Sibyl’s Scriptorium will cooperate with criminal investigations in the United States and at its discretion may cooperate with foreign criminal investigations).
The Sibyl’s Scriptorium web site contains links to the web site of Fyrecon. The contest winners are announced at a Fyrecon event and publicized by Fyrecon. Registration for Fyrecon is separate from, and not required for, entry into Sybil’s Scriptorium contests. If you are interested in attending Fyrecon, we recommend you review their web site, fyrecon.com, including its current privacy policy.
Sybil’s Scriptorium will not generally share information with Fyrecon, except that in the case where an Fyrecon registrant has also entered one of the contests and information may be shared to validate submissions and establish eligibility.
